 The game was postponed from Saturday to Sunday. Good thing. It was nasty as can be on Saturday, as the remnants of Tropical Storm IDA came roaring up the coast and then turned into some Mutant Nor'easter. Then it became unseasonably warm. The kids arrived with their game faces on. The min-tail gating parties were in affect. The parents, families and fans came. The stadium was filling up. It was all set. Destiny was at our door step. The boys wanted to start the game. Exeter looked as confidant. This was going to be a battle for the ages. For the team and the coaches this game could not start fast enough. Kick-off was fast approaching. |
