The week of the Semi Finals vs Exeter. It's almost hard to believe that we are where we are right now. I mean, we all talked about this possibility happening, but to actually be living through it. Eating, sleeping and drinking of this day. It seems surreal. Yet here we are. Preparing for our date with destiny. Thinking back to the regular season lost to Exeter. And knowing that if the Warriors win out the next 4 games, they could very well face Exeter again in the Play-Offs in Exeter on their field. Hard to believe. Unless you didn't believe in this team and their coaches. So practice all week was tight and loose. The kids seem to know that this thing, this scripted "Disney" movie destiny, was almost bigger than each individual. But this is not a game of individuals. That has been embedded in their heads since the PeeWee days. This is the ONLY real game in the World of Sports that is all about the team. It is the ultime Team Sport. Practice hard all week and be smart when not on the field and in school. The coaches had the kids as prepared as they ever would be. The rest was up to them.
